Trump warns rigged election, Trump warns Biden's policies will crush US economy.
US President Donald Trump has criticized former Vice President Joe Biden and warned that the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee will crush the economy and dismantle police departments if elected.
Trump delivered a speech on Monday before his supporters at an airport in the Midwestern state of Wisconsin. The Democrats are holding a national convention there starting on the same day.
Biden is expected to be officially nominated as the Democratic Party's presidential candidate.
Trump asked the audience if they want the US economy crushed under what he called the "crazy socialist policies" of Biden and his running mate, Senator Kamala Harris.
He also asked if they want to defund, defame and dismantle the police. He said he doesn't think so.
The president said that in 78 days, he is going to stop the radical left and win four more years in the state of Wisconsin. He added that the only way he is going to lose is if the election is rigged.
He pledged to win and make America great again.
Trump also noted that he's planning to deliver his acceptance speech for the Republican presidential nomination on August 27 at the White House.
There were several hundred Trump supporters at the rally but only about half of them were wearing face masks.
Earlier, Trump delivered an address in the state of Minnesota before visiting neighboring Wisconsin.
He is scheduled to campaign in Arizona in the west and Pennsylvania in the east later this week.
Fierce battles are expected in these states.
